Acoustic Graffiti are Nick Caldwell & Steve Jervis, an experienced, original guitar duo based in Cheshire.
Graffiti's material is a heady blend of blues, latin & jazz styles. The release of the album 'Out of Nowhere' received high acclaim and enjoyed sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Festival.
Planning for rural dates late 2017/early 2018. See Live page shortly for details.
New covers set for weddings and corporate functions
What we play
A mixed set of lovingly crafted original instrumental material and our own slant on classic tunes from Gershwin to Marvin Gaye, Rodgers & Hart to Louis Armstrong.
There are strong jazz/blues flavours running through the set, beautiful ballads from some of the great songwriters, old soul given the Graffiti treatment and tunes you will never had heard before. Even the occasional vocal number in there.....it would be rude not to!
Some of our material is published online. Check our Video & MP3 page and the social media links above.
Where we play
Anywhere that appreciates a nice tune and a good vibe!
On our travels we've compiled a huge CV, played everywhere from the Edinburgh Festival to The De Vere Belfry, supported jazz greats at The Cinnamon Club and The Verge, played Yacht Club functions and weddings at Tatton Hall.
If you'd like some melodic Graffiti ambience we'd love to hear from you.
We play a unique wedding set you’ll hear nowhere else, catering for guests across all generations. We love our music and aim to create the perfect soundtrack to your special day. Not a backing track in sight, it’s all live!
Our set is a relaxing and tasteful instrumental mix of old and new, classic tunes from jazz, blues, stage and screen and popular genres. We are happy to learn your special song for you too! All details on our Weddings page.
Rural tour - Music in small places
We're looking to bring our music to rural communities throughout the north west over the coming months and beyond. If you manage or know of a parish hall, church hall, pub snug, library, community centre or church even, which would be willing to host a live music event please let us know.
Rural Arts organisations do run annual programmes for village communities but only arrange a couple each year for any one venue. Only a handful of rural communities get a look in. We're looking to build on the great work they do to bring our music to you.
Please contact us by email, comment on the Contact page or via Facebook/Twitter (links at top of page).
Some stuff is already up on the Video & MP3 page, YouTube and Soundcloud. We'll be recording and publishing more of our material shortly ..... the Graffiti Library!
